Activ Absence Control is an easy system to use and is visible to all Departmental Heads / Teams. For a company like Helping Hands who have many Managers working out in the community it is a great tool to be able to see who is in/out at a click of a link.
We manager absence levels through the Bradford factor which is visible to all employees on their dash board and this has had a positive impact on the absence levels, there are very clear expectations, the absence triggers set support the HR function and the Departmental Managers to monitor absence effectively and consistently.
The system is productive as there is no more paper or filling in of forms. The history log of the return to work interviews is key to managing absence and the reporting on trends of absence is very beneficial to monitoring absence cases/meetings with individuals.
The technical departments response is effective and quick, I requested a particular report that wasn’t already in the system, I was very impressed that within 48 hours they had set it up and delivered what I needed.
All in all, we are very happy with the system, it has improved our absence monitoring and reporting processes.
