The award was launched recently in order to reward those HR members of staff who are a credit to their profession, either because they have achieved success against the odds, who always go the extra mile or who simply deserve to be recognised for the contribution they make to HR.
The 12 monthly winners will then be put forward for the prestigious HR News HR Manager of the Year award and will be invited to attend the gala awards dinner in March 2016. One of them will be named HR News’s HR Manager of the Year chosen by a prestigious panel of HR experts.
Lisa Baker, Editor of HR News said: “We are really grateful to Activ Absence for their generous sponsorship of the awards, as well as of the site, we have had an outstanding first quarter and look forward to continuing our success.”
Adrian Lewis, Commercial Director of Codel Software, the developers of Activ Absence, said: “We know through experience that those who work in HR are often the unsung heroes and heroines within any business, so sponsoring the HR News HR Manager of the month award is a natural choice for us. HR News is a great partner to work with, and we are sure their work will help put HR issues in Wales and beyond on the map.”
Nominations for the award can be placed online and HR News will be announcing the winner of April’s HR Manager of the Month shortly.
