March was another great month for Activ Absence news wise.


Our Commercial Director Adrian wrote an interesting blog for HR Zone on how wellness initiatives were being hindered due to a lack of employee health analytics.

This was story also featured in Business Magazine BDaily.

HR News featured Adrian’s comments on how flexible working needed to be seen as more than just a patronising ‘nod to Mums’.

Meanwhile, Pay & Benefits Magazine reported on how the use data can help businesses create a wellness strategy that will be effective, on which Adrian was asked to comment.  He also wrote for HR News on how employers can help wellness initiatives work better.

HR News reported that the take up of shared parental leave was expected to rise in 2016, and Adrian was invited to comment.

Adrian also wrote for Welsh Digital Publication Tech Dragons about how digital methods of marketing are enabling businesses to reach new audiences.

HR Magazine HR Ville sought Adrian’s opinion on tackling absenteeism at work in their ‘Sick Beats’ feature.   He was also featured in an article on creating Healthier Businesses in The Telegraph.

Our Head of Marketing and in-house Editor Lisa Baker wrote an article on how Racism, Sexism and Gender Pay issues were prevalent in sport which received wide coverage, as well as other stories on the Gender Pay Gap and International Women’s Day.

Adrian wrote an article on how flexible working can help employers attract the right talent for business magazine Growth Business and also wrote on how businesses who embrace flexible working tend to have a happier, motivated workforce for Real Business.

Finally, Adrian closed the month with a well-received blog post on HR News, explaining how the company are celebrating 10 years of working with HR people.

Overall, the PR and Marketing teams have achieved a lot of press coverage, proving that we continue to offer relevant content to our HR audience, as well as of course, providing great software!
