Activ People HR Partner Programme
Activ People HR offer flexible cloud-based software – but often, it takes more than HR software to manage HR challenges.
Sometimes, using HR software can highlight a need for help from an external HR service providers. We often get asked who we would recommend, so we created the Activ Absence Partner Programme to give our clients easy access to a network of experienced, trusted HR professionals.
The Activ Partners shown below are allowed to use the Activ Partner Logo, which is a sign that we trust these businesses, who are all familiar with Activ Absence and are able to work with you when you need outside assistance.
Our partners work independently and whilst we recommend their service, any contract or arrangement for assistance is entirely between your business and theirs. Activ People HR receive no referral fees from partners, and the programme is offered purely to add value to the services we provide to our customers.
Our Legal Partners are highly qualified and experienced in employment law. We are happy to recommend the following partner providers:

Management and prevention of mental health problems:
Managing stress in the workplace remains a massive challenge for many UK employers.
A major concern for many companies is the cost of stress related absence, which according to some estimates is costing the UK economy £6.5bn a year. Employers can reduce the impact and improve their welfare support for all levels of staff by taking a more pro-active holistic approach. There are measures a company can take to address stress related problems earlier and prevent them from escalating.
Employers can improve their communication about mental health and ensure there aren’t any stigmas surrounding mental illness. They can engage, support and refer employees before they reach the stage where they need to take long term absence.
Identifying symptoms early can make a big difference to the outcome for both the business and the employee. Mental health conversations can be uncomfortable and it is helpful to have access to qualified and experienced support to help that journey.
Counsellors help manage the time consuming and complex issues that can arise when dealing with Mental Health support within your business. We work with all clients differently and believe every client is unique and no two people fit the same counselling model of which we use a number of different techniques.
Research into online counselling has established the efficacy of online therapy with treatment outcomes at least equal to traditional in-office settings. There is also research to suggest that online counseling is more effective because a client is at greater ease and feels less intimidated than they would in traditional settings. This makes clients more likely to be honest and thus allow the counsellor to provide better treatment.
